Geocache Description:

The original station was built in 1838 as part of the London-Birmingham Railway.The station saw a number of modifications and extensions over the years which meant that when it was finally demolished in 1960 there were parts of it over a 120years old and it became a Grade-II listed building .
The station since 2007 is currently served by CrossCountry,London Midland and Virgin Trains.
