Geocache Description:

Thames Path - Old Windsor

Old Windsor is the oldest Saxon town in Berkshire, and the seat of Edward the Confessor. It continued in importance up until about 1100 when it was gradually overshadowed by the building of Windsor Castle two miles upstream.

The cache is a very small snap-lock container containing just the logbook and a swap. Please bring your own pen/pencil to record your find.

Good luck.

This is my last Thames Path cache working downstream. I hope others will take on the series working Eastwards.
