Once upon a time there was a "little"
fellow from the species Rana catesbiana that got tired of
dodging being potential gator bait (No, not the cache) so he hopped
down the trail past Gatorbait (the cache) trying to find a place to
permanently escape those pesky gators.
He settled on a spot just before the Texas Challenge 2007 and
made his presence known to a select few daring all to find his
location. He was supposed to be one of the First to Find caches
during the Challenge. Much to the chagrin of the only person who
knew his location, no one was up to the challenge of finding this
little guy and the final hidden "treasure".
I don't understand why a "slight" error in listing coordinates
caused a problem. Three's and eight's really do look alike. They
only pointed 267 feet away from the actual location. Shouldn't
experienced Texas Challenger cachers be able to deal with that
slight error in distance? I guess not.
I put this cache back in the original location, changed the
final container to an ammo can, and yes, listed the CORRECT
coordinates for the first stage above. So this is your chance to
find an actual cache location from Texas Challenge 2007.
Please come out and enjoy some caching at Brazos Bend State Park
and find this cache in a part of the park that until now did not
have caches. Remember there is an entry fee into Texas State Parks
or better yet, stop and buy an annual pass!!
Congratulations to Piman314 for
FTF!!!
