St. Mary's
Another contribution to this series, started by sadexploration, is St. Mary's, West Horsley.
The church, founded in c1030, is generally of 12th Century construction with further additions. Of particular note is an impressive wall painting of St Christopher. The head of Sir Walter Raleigh is believed to be buried with his three grandchildren in the Nicholas vault.
A straight forward micro. The cache is not within the churchyard so do not try and look for it there - you won't find it!
The cache has a log book only plus micro certificates and hand made micro churches but no pen so please bring one with you.
