Flatcoat Walker: Visited this site today, and the cache has gone. Although the hiding place is still there, the area has completely changed since I hid it, and is now too exposed, and in full view of a house. There is nowhere suitable nearby to relocate it to, so I am archiving this cache.

Geocache Description:

I thought it would be fun to see how many new cache sites I could find near to Mills in my local area. These will include Watermills and Windmills, some still in use, some now used for other purposes. Most mills are sited in nice surroundings, so I hope you will enjoy visiting them. I will be adding new caches to this series over the next few months.

All the micros are hidden right on public footpaths. None of them will be very close to private houses. Some of them are near public highways, but many are along private roadways, with only footpath access. Please park considerately, and do not drive along any private roads to access the caches.

Ewood – About 1½ miles north of Newdigate. There is a pretty little old cottage here called Mill Cottage, and a useful looking stream, so there must have been a Mill near here once upon a time. It is along a private road/bridleway so please do not drive here, but find somewhere to park and walk.
