Wherigo Cache
Per raggiungere il cache è necessario giocare la cartuccia wherigo collegata. Si parte dalle coordinate indicate in questa pagina e seguendo un piccolo tour che toccherà alcune dei punti più interessanti del parco, si raggiungerà la posizione finale.
Se volete barare e fate geocaching solo per i numeri, potete giocarla sull'emulatore e avere le coordinate finali senza visitare il parco. Contenti voi....

Questo parco ha, senza dubbio, una sua parte nella storia della città di Milano.

Sino al 1924 è stato l'ippodromo di Milano, prima che questo venisse spostato nella zona San Siro. Nel viale principale del parco è, infatti, ancora visibile il tracciato originario.

Subito dopo fu utilizzato dal Comune come sede della 'Casa del sole', una scuola all'aperto destinata ai bambini sofferenti di tubercolosi. Nel parco sono ancora visibili i luoghi che venivano utilizzati per le lezioni. E' anche visibile il 'Convitto', dove i bambini appartenenti a famiglie povere e disagiate avevano dimora.

All'interno del parco è presente una chiesetta, ristrutturata di recente ed ora adibita a manifestazioni ed eventi culturali, che fu consacrata negli anni '50 dall'allora Cardinale Montini, che divenne Papa Paolo VI nel 1963.

Note sul cache:
Si tratta di un contenitore di plastica nero che contiene solo il logbook, quindi ricordatevi la penna. L'area intorno al cache può essere molto affollata, soprattutto nei week-end. Per favore, fate particolare attenzione quando prendete e rimettete il cache. Le coordinate non sono precise, potete usare l'hint come aiuto. E' superfluo sottolineare di rimettere il cache nella stessa identica posizione in cui lo avete trovato.

To get to the cache you need to play the connected wherigo cartridge. You will start from the coordinates of the listing and you will walk through some interesting locations of this park, reaching, at the end the final location.
If you would like to cheat, and you do geocaching just for the numbers, you can play the cartridge on the emulatore and you will find the finali coordinates without visit the park. If that is what you like....

This park has, without any doubt, a part in the history of the city of Milan.

It has been, until 1924 the hippodrome of Milan, before this was moved in the San Siro area. In the main avenue of the park it is still visible the original track.

Then it has been used by the Municipality as the location of the 'Casa del sole' (literally 'House of the Sun'), an open-air school for the kids with the tuberculosis illness. Inside the park there are still visible the facilities and the locations that were used for the lessons. It is also visible the 'Convitto' (boarding wing of the school) that was intended for the kids coming from poor families.

Inside the park is also present a small church, recently rebuild and now used for cultural events that has been consecrated during 50s by cardinal Montini, that became Pope Paul VI in 1963.

Notes on the cache:
We are talking of a black plastic container which contains the logbook only, so you have to remember to bring your own pen. The area around the cache can be crowded, especially on weekends. Please pay extra attention when you grab the cache and put it back. Coordinates are not accurate, use hint as a help in the search. It is not necessarily to say put it back in the same position you have found it.
