Geocache Description:

A traditional cache in Berlin's Bicentennial Park.

I had been planning to place this cache for a while and was thinking of some sort of bicentennial theme. When scouting locations for this cache one day, I was hiking down one path and a dog walker was headed out in a different direction. I figured I was safe and on my own when suddenly crashing through the trees comes a basset hound. The owner followed shortly after and proceeded to follow 10 feet behind me as I hiked. Needless to say my scouting was cut short for the day, but I was inspired to rename this cache "Dogged Pursuit" in honor of one of my favorite caching buddies, Kobe my beagle and his many friends I've met at this park. He is pretty much an anchor on FTF runs, but he enjoys a good hike.

This cache is off a side trail from the main loop. It is just under a mile round trip from the parking area: N41°36.514 W 072°47.145. Supposedly there is another entrance on Kensington Road but I have never used that entrance and that may put water between you and this cache.

Some stealth will be required until you get near the cache because this park can be crawling with dogs and their owners at times. A lot of them seem to like letting their dogs run free as well so keep that in mind if you are wary of dogs.

FTF Prize for you FTF hounds (yeah, you know who you are.) is an unactivated FTF Craze Geocoin.
