Geocache Description:

Cache was a camoflaged 35mm film Pot. Now replaced with a small tube containing log only.

Hidden on the Ham Wood viaduct on the old Somerset and Dorset railway line.Almost all flat apart from a small drop near Rosamund Green farm.Total distance about 1.25 miles there and back.

Can be incorporated into one of Shepton Town Council's recommended walks, see web site :- (visit link)

Both Tunnels are open, the up tunnel which is 132 yards long is prefered!
The scarier down tunnel is 242 yards long.

After the tunnels you pass the ruins of the quarry buildings and equipment. The path dropping down to the left is used by mountain bikers.

The viaduct spans high over the valley below.

There is no need for any climbing to get cache, feet firmly on the ground.

Shortly after the end of the viaduct the land is private.
The footpath on the left hand side leads down to the bottom of the woods.
