Geocache Description:

A simple multi in Dublin.

Background:
"The Linesman" is a life-like bronze of a docks worker, it reminds us that this area used to be a busy shipping area. Nearby is a memorial to Matt Talbot the temperance campaigner and another to merchant seamen who lost their lives during the "Emergency".

The Cache:
At the coordinates given is a feature. You need to find a few numbers in order to discover the location of the cache.

What day in the month was this feature unveiled? Call this AB.

How many letters are in the surname of the person who unveiled it? Call this C.

How many buttons are on the shirt? Call this D.

How many horizontal railing surround the feature? Call this E.

The first digit of the year it was unveiled is F.

Now to find the final location, solve below with each square bracket denoting one digit:

N 53° [F][Bx8].[F^E][C-A-(DxF)][Bx5]
W 006° [A][C-D].[C+A][D+F+E][Ax3+B]

A Note re Winter Winter in Dublin generally means rain, not snow. As such the attribute "available in winter" makes sense, however, should you be here in the rare event of snowfall you may need to dig to find the plaque at the statue! The plaque is to the right.
