This 4 stage Multi-cache will take you along the Will Rogers Country Centennial Trail ending high on scenic Kite Hill. This twelve-plus mile Equestrian Trail system follows along a portion of the southern shore of Oologah Lake. Plan on at least 3 hours for this adventure and pack accordingly. Your total round trip will be at least 3 1/2 miles. The trail is much better suited for four-footed travelers than two-footed. That is, while you are actually on the trail. Farthest portions of the trails are all but invisible. There is no actual direct trail between stages 3 and 4, and between stages 2 & 3 it is sketchy. You will encounter lots of thorns, bugs, poison plants, perhaps snakes, wildlife, elevation change and fantastic views of Oologah Lake.
Portions of the trail may not be passable after heavy rains. I suggest you mark several waypoints along the trail, especially between stages 2 and 3, as you will not want to backtrack to Stage 3 from the Final.
Please practice CITO along the trail and remember the
Congratulations to Hobbitix for FTF on stages 1 and 2, Extreme Mom and Hobbitix for their tenatious search for stage three, and tcberry33 for the official, complete FTF!
