St Mary
St Marys Church in Slaugham dates back to Norman times and a fish symbol adorns the Norman font made of Sussex marble. The chapel in memory of the Covert family was built in 1613 and contains brasses of the family who died in the previous century. A yew tree in the churchyard is about 600 years old.
A straight forward micro cache, there is parking out side the church for a few cars and also across the road near the lovely pub.
Take care retrieving the cache and ensure it goes back the way you found it.
The cache has a log book only plus micro certificates and hand made micro churches for the first few finders but no pen so please bring one with you
If any body would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let me know first so I can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
