Geocache Description:

Hike of 1237 steps up to the top of a 260 metre high mountain peak to Tiger Cave Temple.
IF GOING UP, PLEASE TAKE A FILM CONTAINER TO REPLACE IF NEEDED

The main tourist attraction in the temple complex is the 1,237 step climb up a limestone tower to see the "footprint of the Buddha". Even if you are in good shape, the heat and humidity make this a difficult hike. Once you make it to the top, you are rewarded with stunning 360° views of the surrounding countryside and the Andaman Sea. No problem to get to the base of the temple.
You can drive there by car or motorbike.
Then you must climb 1237 steps up to the top.
Be carefull as the monkeys are known to steal things.
A monkey stole someone's cell phone and removed the batteries the day I was there.
The cache has been replaced in 2010 and has gone missing again. Replaced in Oct 2013 a OR replace it for me./p>
