This event is part of the WWFM - World Wide Flash Mob coordinated events. A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.
****UPDATE: 6 May - There will be a Travel Bug/Geocoin bucket avaiable on site.****
This World Wide Flash Mob Event will be in the park outside the Lewis & Clark Public Library at the south end of the Last Chance Gulch Walking Mall, in downtown Helena, Montana. It will take place 10 May 2008 (Saturday), at EXACTLY 11:00AM.
A .50-cal ammo can placed at ground zero will signal the start of the event!!! The event will last EXACTLY 15 minutes, not one second longer, and will include signing log sheets, a FTF prize, raffles, a quick event meal, and a group photo.
Schedule of Events:
- Receive and sign a log-sheet and micro name-tag (bring your own pen!!)
- Turn your log sheet into the .50-cal ammo can and receive your event meal.
- An award will be given to the FTF, and raffle prizes will be drawn from the log sheets.
- We'll snap a quick group photo (only one official photo will be taken, which will be posted on the webpage after the event), and then disperse at exactly 11:15AM.
- Please CITO the area as you leave.
In the event of poor weather, ground zero will become N 46' 35.092 W 112' 02.426, and the event will gather under the S. Cruse Ave. bridge.
