A nice gentle walk along the Ashby Canal towpath.
The Ashby Canal runs through the countryside for almost all of its length beginning at its junction with the Coventry Canal and not quite reaching Ashby. The canal only runs through the occasional village along its entire route, this and not being a through route gives it a very rural backwater feel, making it a delight to visit.
The cache doesn't have enough room for TB's or all but the tiniest of Geocoins, but does have a little room for coins. I would like this to be used for foreign small change, old currency etc. Please no coins of any value.
The towpath will be muddy so bring suitable footwear.
