TIME: 10:00 am to 10:15 am (only 15 minutes!)
WHERE: The Waterfront Auckland



-What will happen when hundreds of geocachers around the world meet at the same time?

-Will satellites collide?

-A Flash Mob Event is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, and then quickly disperse. You can handle that can‘t you?

-This flash mob event is part of a much larger effort by geocachers around the world. At the same time, over 90 World Wide Flash Mob (WWFM) events will occur.

-Come and be a FLASHER!

During the “WWFM III Kiwi Stylie” Be Prepared To: …



-Sign the log sheet.
-Put the sheet in the bucket for the Raffle.
-Participate in "WWFM III Kiwi Stylie"
-Take Group Photo
-Bring a HiViz jacket or vest along, and be prepared to appreciate some artwork



Here is the itinerary for WWFM III Kiwi Stylie


09:55
- Everybody wait patiently and/or stroll around the area. STAY AWAY from ground zero until the signal is given. As much as you can, act like a muggle, pretend not to know each other or give any indication that something is about to happen.

10:00
-Hosts will arrive at GZ and Signal the beginning of the Flash Event
-Everybody gather round Ground Zero and don your HiViz Jacket or vest. Circle the artwork, once the circle is formed start clapping for fifteen seconds.

10:01 – 10:08
-Sign the log sheet with your name (Please bring a pen)
-Put the log sheet in the bucket for the raffle
-Begin "WWFM Kiwi Stylie"

10:08 - 10:12
-The event “banquet” will be served!
-Exchange swag, coins, TBs, tall tales, DNF stories, puzzle solutions.
-Raffle Drawing and Prizes for "WWFM III Kiwi Stylie" awarded

10:12
-Assemble for a group photo, and assemble FAST. Listen to the photographer for directions.
-Taking of the official photo of the WWFM Kiwi Stylie Event

10:14 -One minute WARNING!

10:15 EXACTLY
 -All participants must leave the area and remove hi-vis jackets. EVERYBODY! It is very important that all leave the premises at exactly 10:15 at the signal and disperse in different directions.
Afterwards
 -Meet at Esquires Coffee House (S 36° 50.588 E 174° 45.943) for a coffee, food and a chat and plan the rest of the day...


If everything goes right we will have lots of people coming out of nowhere and gathering for 15 minutes, holding a geocaching event and then disappearing…This will be lots of fun and maybe even raise a few muggle eyebrows!
