Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as part of the Neighbour of Leap Year's day Bash Event. The container is a 1.5liter lock-and-lock container and is situated on the property now known as “Getaway Farms”, a guest farm offering a “one of a kind accommodation” - luxury authentic renovated train coaches! Enquire further, and you'll find that this piece of land has a very interesting history.

During the late 1800's, this property belonged to David Schalk van der Merwe, one of a few successful Afrikaans businessmen in those years. The farm was the origin of “Seltzbach Mineral Water”, well known for its purity and taste, as far as London and Germany. The fountain from which this “wonder water” springs is still active today, and the old railway station, built especially for the transportation of the bottled water, has been renovated by the new owner and now forms part of a luxury bed-and-breakfast.

Apart from the Seltzbach fountain and renovated railway station, the property offers a few other surprizes. The owner has a love for vintage automobiles, and quite a few models, in mint condition, can be inspected by a curious visitor...

The owner is aware of the cache, as well as the location thereof, but will not assist in finding it.
