Geocache Description:

This cache is located on yet another of Canberra's quirky attractions involving, you guessed it, sheep!

"Matthew Harding’s flock of ‘knitted’ steel sheep takes a more whimsical look at our region’s history of European rural settlement."

Matthew is also responsible for several other works of public art in Canberra:

  • the “Cushion” in Garema Place;
  • “Pods” on City Walk;
  • “Bogong Moths” (with Jim Williams) in the car park of the National Museum of Australia; and
  • “Centricity – Fingerprint” (with Mark Woolston) in the CraftACT gallery entrance.

The cache is a nano container so you will need to bring your own pen. You may also need a tool to extract the log. Please use discretion in retrieving & replacing!

My thanks to Fore! and Shadow! for their assistance. Fore! was particularly insistent that I place one here!

FTF: Black Bunny
