Meet the new 2008 NoVAGO board members!

12:30 - 1:00 Informal Meet and Greet

A chance to get to meet the NoVAGO leadership and time to put a face on all those names you have been seeing in the logs for the past year.

1:00 - 2:00 General Membership Meeting

Come out and join us for the Northern Virginia Geocaching Organization’s first 2008 general membership meeting. This is a great opportunity for folks to talk about the upcoming year, hear the plans, and provide input on what we can and should do in the coming year.

Everyone who has an interest in GeoCaching is invited! You do not have to be a member of NoVAGO to attend. No matter if you have 10 or 10,000 finds, everyone is welcome! New to caching? New to the area? Visiting from out of town? Feel free to join us!

2:00 - 5:30 Cryptophobia Support Group

Do you fear this icon Mystery Cache or at the very least ignore puzzle caches? You may suffer from Cryptophobia.
  • Cryptophobia: cryp?topho?bia
  • Pronunciation: krip-tO-fO-bE-a
  • Function: noun
  • Definition: Fear of puzzles. Especially in Geocaches

If puzzle caches give you nightmares at just the thought of trying to solve them? Then join us for the Cryptophobia support group meeting after the meet and greet.

The creators of many such ominous puzzle caches, Lion Heart and rufnredy have agreed to offer guidance and hope to those in need.
