St.Margaret
Number 95 in the series is St Margaret's in Addington. The church was built on a narrow promontory a long way from the centre of its village and is entered through a porch with pretty bargeboards. The Norman aisleless nave was extended to the west when the present tower was built in the fifteenth century, and the former outside corner of the Norman building may be clearly seen. The Victorians heavily restored the interior but the south chapel still contains much of interest, notably the Watton memorial of 1653 which blocks the former east window, the outline of which may be seen outside. This chapel also has a good contemporary painted ceiling.
There is limited parking outside the church.
The initial coordinates are not for the cache but for information needed to solve the clue.
The final position of the cache is at N 51° EC.ABH E 000° BF.G6G which is revealed by solving the following clue.
N 51° 18.315 E 000° 22.283 Call Stephen Hodges 017AB CDEFGH.
Had some trouble with the coordinates at the cache location, but they aren't far off and if you've done any of my part of the church series this should be fairly straightforward.
The cache has a log book but no pen so please bring one with you.
If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
