Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the published coordinates.

The “X Marks The Spot” series takes a twist with this cache and because of that there’s not an inventor in sight. Okay so technically that means that it’s not an ‘X’ cache at all, but it could be, depending on how you look at it.

This one relates to a very select group of individuals that, at the date this cache is published, number no more than 1400. What they have in common will be well known to all, however their names will not, and that is almost certainly how they would like it. Despite that, all their names are officially recorded with one notable exception.

This being an ‘X’ cache however, it relates only to those that have been laid to rest in Surrey.

First of all you will need to fill the relevant years (vertically) into the following grid and then add up each row:

Secondly you need to answer the following questions:

What is the unique reference number of the individual buried closest to the published coordinates? (HINT: It is five digits long ignoring the single letter prefix) E = 1st digit, F = 2nd digit, G = 3rd digit, H = 4th digit and I = 5th digit

Only one of them became a peer of the realm. How many bars did they own? J = The number of bars.

The cache is hidden at N 51°P.Q  W 000°R.S where,

P = G + H

Q = B – C - (F*J)

R = E + (E*J)

S = A + D + I

The cache box is small and only contains a log book and two pencils, however there is a coin taped to the inside of the lid for the FTF. It is not a geocoin, but has relevance to this cache.

Although the cache location is not overlooked, the path is often used, so please take care when removing it from the hide, and then replace the box exactly as found.

Good luck and please avoid any spoilers in your logs.
