Geocache Description:

An evening of camaraderie, complete with Brews and wings at a local favourite pub! The C.R.E.W. from Waterloo's first Meet and Eat event!

This Event is on February 7th, 2008

Come have a Brew with the C.R.E.W.!


C.R.E.W. = "Caching Regulars Encompassing Waterloo(Region)"

When: February 7th 2008, 6:00-9:00pm

Where: Barleyworks (Upstairs at the Huether Hotel, we are in the upstairs part of the bar. If you are on the same level as the bar, then you need to go up one more level! Ask for the Operations Room). Parking can be limited at the actual restaurant, but there are plenty of side streets with free parking.

What: People will order from a decent menu original menu (Please see THIS THREAD for more information on the "menu" situation including a link to that menu!) for food, and beers on tap.

Who: Geocachers and their guests (even muggle friends are welcome!)

Why: Why not? Come on, it'll be fun!

We will get the entire upstairs party room area for fun! If you have a laptop and want to share some pictures, you can because there is a flatscreen on the wall that we can plug into!

If anyone wants to bring in any puzzle caches that have been haunting them, I am sure that the CREW will be willing to help you!

Are you new to caching? Well this is a great way to get to know the local group of cachers! Trade secrets, tips and heck, you might even be able to get Geocite to tell you their secret to being in 3 and a half places at once!

There are stairs so this is rated a 1.5 terrain to start and depending on how many beers, could be a 4 terrain at the end!

Prizes: yes please! If you have something to give away, let me know!

Travel Bugs/Geocoins: If you have any you want to send along with someone else, please bring them! Also Mike (M3J) will give us an update on the idea/plan for a geocoin (hope you don't mind Mike!).
