Geocache Description:

Cache is in Bear Creek Redwoods Open Space.

My Love
My Life
My Caching Partner

From the day I found our first cache, Kathy was excited about getting out and going "tresaure hunting" as she first called it. She loved going out caching, especially up into the mountains. Her favorite caching spot was Lake Tahoe where we would spend a week each summer.
She was always excited about meeting other Cachers while out on the hunt. A big smile was always on her face for our new friends.
Kathy passed away in November of "06". The last thing we did together outside of the hospital was, she wanted to go up on Skyline and cache. We had a beautiful, warm, sunny day and beautiful scenery. She was in her element.
This cache is being placed in conjunction with our 2000th find. Although she has never been here it's the kind of place she loved to find in our caching adventures. It's the kind of place I loved to sit quietly with her and hold hands and be thankful to geocaching for bringing us to a place like this.

The cache is a large ammo boxed filled with goodies for all. Bring your trade items.
The cache is in "Bear Creek Redwood Open Space. A permit is needed to use the park. They are easily obtainable by calling the district office at: 1(650)691-1200. Ask for Leslie.

Happy Caching!

P.S. Be sure to grab the fairly close, nearby Benchmark.
