Walk in the Woods (Bonus Cache) Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Hanoosh: I am archiving this cache as it is no longer possible to work out the co-ords for this cache as No 2 in the series has already been archived.

Geocache Description:

Final (bonus) cache in the 'Walk in the Woods' series.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com. Remember Geochecker wants three digits for the Easting/Westing

Walk in the Woods (Bonus Cache)

To claim this cache you need to have visited the other nearby Walk in the Woods caches collecting grid references from each. You then need to use those coordinates to work out where the cache is by using the grid below.

Each cache will give you two grid references. WW1A would be the ‘A’ reference from the first Walk in the Woods cache, WW1B would be the ‘B’ reference from the same Walk in the Woods cache.

The entire walk including this one is around 2.5 miles, generally on well established tracks or paths.

You can find a suggested route around the series (excluding the bonus) in Google Earth or Google Maps format by clicking through the appropriate link.

You are looking for a medium clip lock style plastic box.

There are other caches in the neighbourhood including Magic Eye Mole(GCZZ0C), the excellent qichina Two-Way Toots: Three for the Price of Toot (Essex) (GCR1XJ) series and Gernon Bushes (Essex) (GCJZ3A)

A couple of pubs in the area are The Mole Trap (beware, they won’t let kids under 14 inside even to eat) and The Green Man.

Check before you go

If you use paperless caching, you should check that your device correctly reproduces the grid before heading into the field otherwise you might have a frustrating time.

Cache location

The final cache is in a publicly accessible part of the woods, if you find yourself heading into a private section then either something has gone wrong or you’ve missed a path.

Each cache will give you two grid references. WW1A would be the ‘A’ reference from the first Walk in the Woods cache, WW1B would be the ‘B’ reference from the same Walk in the Woods cache.
