The cache is situated near Hartfield Station which stood on the
old branch line which ran between East Grinstead and Tunbridge
Wells West.
Hartfield Station was opened on 1st October 1866 by the London
Brighton & South Coast Railway and closed on 2nd January
1967.
The station and platform still remain and the station is now
used as a private residence / commercial premises. The area in
front of platform has now been filled in to form the garden of the
house.
The old line now forms part of Forest Way which is very popular
with dog walkers and cyclists. If you require more information on

Forest Way
The picture above was taken from under the bridge looking east
and if you look up at the bridge you can still see the soot from
the trains which still remains after forty years.

The cache itself is a small clip top box which contains the
usual trades and certificates for 1st 2nd and 3rd to find. The
bonus cache for this series has now been archived so no need to
collect the bonus numbers.
