Lagoa de
Albufeira
Um pinhal a perder de
vista, nos areais que já foram fundo do rio Tejo e hoje dão abrigo
a uma das maiores florestas de pinheiro em Portugal. A sensação de
caminhar em companhia de vigilantes suaves de verde, que sangram
resina numa utilização serena que assegura a sua sobrevivência. A
duna, o contraforte que nos faz atingir a vista de um oceano sem
fim, e as veredas que nos levam a um santuário de Natureza chamado
Lagoa de Albufeira, no fundo os bivalves, criados e mantidos por
estranhas ilhas artificiais. Sobre a água, são às centenas as aves
que aqui encontram o sossego de permanência nesta zona
húmida.

A losing sight pine trees forest, on
the sand that have been bottom of the river Tagus and today give
shelter to one of the largest forests of pine trees in Portugal.
The feeling of walking with the soft green trees, which bleed
calmly resin that ensures its survival. The dune makes us
reach the sight of an endless ocean, and the paths that lead us to
a shrine of Nature called Lagoa de Albufeira. At the deep water the
bivalves are created and maintained by strange artificial islands.
On the water, hundreds of birds are here to stay quiet and
peacefull on this wetland.
A
Cache
A cache está
localizada numa zona ecologicamente muito sensível. Solicita-se a
todos os Geocacher o maior respeito pela Natureza. É possível
deixar o cachemobil, junto à estrada, num local muito próximo e
seguir a pé até à cache numa distância de cerca de 200 metros.
Apesar de existirem trilhos que permitem a passagem de viaturas de
todo o terreno até muito próximo da cache o ideal é fazer o
percurso a pé ou de bicicleta.

located in a very environmentally sensitive area, every
geocacher must be very carefully and must respect the Nature.
It is possible to leave the cachemobil, next to the road and
take a walk about 200 meters. It's also possible to go by
mountain byke.

Devido à presença de
um número elevado de árvores de grande porte o sinal do GPS não era
o melhor.
