Mohylové pohrebište
Archeologickou lokalitu v Husíne objevil a v poslední ctvrtine 19. století i prozkoumal JUDr. Karel Hostaš, zakladatel klatovského muzea. Pohrebište tvorilo 43 mohyl ze strední a mladší doby bronzové (1600 - 900 pr. n. l.)a dále ze starší a mladší doby železné (800 - 400 pr. n. l.) Celá lokalita byla archeologicky prozkoumána. Nalezené prdmety, i na tehdejší dobu peclive provedená dokumentace z výzkumu, jsou dnes uloženy v okresním muzeu v Klatovech. V jednom ze svých deníku Karel Hostaš uvádí: "Mohyly na Husíne a sice 17 význacných mohyl, které vydaly nejvíce nálezu, oznaceno bylo tesanými žulovými kameny dne 12. 10. 1908.
The woodland area Husín (Lesní komplex Husín)
(cca 5 km in the direction of Tajanov)
This outdoor area is well-known for its ’mohyly’ - prehistoric mounds - as burial places from the middle and late bronze age. About the finds and the site there is not only an information board at the entrance to the woods but also the ’marker stones’ of Dr. Hostaš placed throughout the area.
