St.Margaret
Number 78 in the
series is St Margaret in Ifield. The church was built in 1596, and
restored in 1838; has a wooden spire; and is very small.
The initial
coordinates are not for the cache but for a spot where you used to
be able to watch Eurostar whizzing past, you can't at the moment
because the powers that be have decided to move the A2 100 yds to
the south. Parking is available outside of the church.
The final position of
the cache is at N51 (A-C)(B-C).(A-D)DD E00 (A-C)(A-C).(B+E)EE which
is revealed by solving the following clues.
N 51° 24.363 E 000°
22.452 - Read about some very brave people who are remembered here
and look for....
Robert George
Broadwood C.B. ABth Div.
Albert Logan Young
CDst Battalion End Canadians.
The cache has a log
book but no pen so please bring one with you.
Congratulations have
to go to zoetaylor for the FTF, almost clean sweep so far on this
part of the Church Micro series.
If anybody would
like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you
could let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the
Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
