These puzzles have become quite popular in recent years. They are based on well-known statements, expressions, idioms, sayings, titles etc
An example would be
X = FITG
the expression (or TV programme title) is
(One) Foot in the Grave
and so X =1.
You need to work out the following numbers:-

This series of related caches is on a pretty circular walk. The walk has short steep sections and has muddy patches in winter so good walking shoes are recommended.
