Geocache Description:

The posted coords will not take you to the cache. Go to the parking coords and start your journey.  Here are the coords to the final:

N 28 21.ABC   W 080 43.DEF

This cache will take you on a walk through one of our most historic areas in Central Brevard County, Cocoa Village. Cocoa Village is known for its specialty shops, Playhouse and restaurants. While on this journey take your time and enjoy all the sights you can see. There really is a lot of history in this area. This cache should take you on about a one mile walk through the village. We walked it and it took us about 1/2 an hour to complete. Give yourself a little extra time if you want to enjoy the walk. There are white lights in the trees, so we would recommend doing this at night.

Now for your caching pleasure here is what you will need to do. We will take you to several historical sites throughout the village. Each location you will need to find some information to obtain the final coords for your smiley.

1.  Starting at your parking coords go to:

N 28 21.286

W 080 43.592

Here you will find yourself in a spot that could be high in muggles. You are looking for a sign with a phone number on it for rental of the Gazebo. What is the 8th number of that phone number? This number = E.

2.  Next walk along Brevard Ave to the North to:

N 28 21.340

W 080 43.581

This will bring you to a mural on the side of an eating establishment. The mural was restored in what year? The final number of that year =A.

3.  Now cross Brevard Ave and head South. Your next stop will be at :

N 28 21.320

W 080 43.572

This will bring you to a location that is an icon in the Village. How many ticket windows are there? This number = B

4.  Continue going South on Brevard Ave to:

N 28 21.240

W 080 43.574

Here you will find yourself looking at something really interesting.  The time and effort to do this is just amazing.  Take time to look at the entire thing.  Once you are done admiring it find how many dolphins are pictured.  Take this number and multiply by 2.  Your answer = C.

5.  Continuing South head to:

N 28 21.055

W 080 43.567

This will take you to a historical building.  You will find a plaque here telling you the history of this building.  What year was this building sold to The First Baptist Church of Cocoa?  The third digit of the year = D

6.  Turn around and head back North on Brevard Ave.  It is your choice how to arrive at:

N 28 21.228

W 080 43.515

Once here take time to look around the place.  Many events such as weddings, receptions or parties are held here.  What year was this place built?  The final number of that year = F

Now you should have the coords to find the final which is a plastic peanut butter jar camoed.  You will pass by Taylor Park or Riverfront Park on your way to the final.  Take time to check out this park, it is a wonderful park with a lot of interesting things in it.  We hope you enjoy your journey through Cocoa Village.  Please use stealth when retrieving the final as there are almost always muggles in this area.

FTF gets a new unactivated coin.
