Rochas da Lagoa Traditional Geocache

P: Esta cache está localizada numa zona com uma vista que prova que o Alentejo não é só planicie! E: This cache is located in an area with a view that proves that Alentejo region isn't flat!

P: Encontrámos este local enquanto tentávamos encontrar a Casa da Moura, o que não chegou a acontecer mas que aqui fica a lenda:
"Segundo dizem os mais velhos, existe uma moura encantada nas rochas do lago.
É um lago que está feito no campo e tem lá uma casa com muitas rochas, umas grandes e outras mais pequenas.
Nessa casa debaixo de uma grande rocha é onde se encontra a moura. As pessoas dizem que a moura é uma mulher, transformada em cobra. As pessoas dizem que a moura para deixar de ser moura e passar a ser mulher, tinha que ser uma noite à meia noite, uma pessoa ir às rochas do lago.
Assim que desse a meia noite em ponto a rocha abria e aparecia a cobra muito grande e grossa.
Mas a pessoa que lá fosse não se podia arrepiar nem gritar.
A cobra vai subindo pela pessoa acima e dá-lhe um beijo, se a pessoa não tiver medo a moura fica desencantada. A pessoa que desencanta a moura tem que ir ao buraco buscar todo o ouro que lá se encontra e traz com ela o ouro e a moura encantada.
Esta é a lenda contada pelos mais velhos."

Para chegar á cache basta seguirem estas dicas:

- Virar em N 38º47.066' W007º19.610', que é a entrada de uma quinta mas falámos com um homem que lá estava e não houve qualquer problema.
- Passar o portão 1 em N 38º46.838' W007º19.587' e seguir com o carro até onde conseguirem, pois a estrada não está nada boa.
- Ao chegarem ao portão 2 em N 38º46.466' W007º20.227', passem-no e partir daí sigam em direcção á cache.

Cuidado com as crianças ao chegarem perto da cache pois as rochas podem estar escorregadias e é uma zona bastante pedregosa e com declive acentuado.

Esperamos que gostem da vista e se divirtam com a nossa primeira cache. Vejam a vista lá de cima e desçam lá abaixo, para verem a barragem e...cuidado com a cobra...

E: We found this place while we were trying to find the Mourish House, which never happened, but here is the tale:

"The older men say that there is a enchanted mourish women at the lake rocks.
It's a lake that is in the field and there is a house there with lots of rocks, some bigger, some smaller.
In that house, under a big rock, is where the mourish women is. People say that the mourish was a women, turned into a snake. People say that the only way the snake becomes a women again is if a person goes there at midnight. At midnight, the rock would open and the big snake would come out, but the person couldn't be afraid or scream.
The snake crawls the person up and kisses her, if the person has no fear, the snake becomes a women. The person can then go to the rock and take all the gold from inside and brings it with her and the women."

To get to the cache, all you have to do its follow this hints:

- Turn at N 38º47.066' W007º19.610', which is the entrance of a small farm, but its ok, because we talked to one guy that was there and it was ok.
- Go threw gate 1 at N 38º46.838' W007º19.587' and follow the road until you can, because the road isn't very good.
- When you get to gate 2 at N 38º46.466' W007º20.227', go threw it and from there go to the cache direction.

Beware of the children when you get near the cache because the rocks may be slippery and it a very steep.
