Geocache Description:

This Earthcache is located at stop 13 on the Ajo Mountain Drive at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The Drive is a 21 mi. dirt road which can be driven in a passenger car, vehicles over 25' are not permitted. This cache can be accessed by wheel chair.



The arch at Arch Canyon is one of the most loved and photographed attractions of the Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. While winding your way along this dirt road you will become immersed in the desert landscape. On your way to the cache you will have a chance to look out over spectacular scenic views, as you make your way through the creosote flats and up into the foot hills of the Ajo Mountains.

You must pay an entrance fee of $8 to access the Monument by car. Federal Recreation Passports are accepted.

All information to complete this Earthcache challenge is provided on the wayside signs which are located near the arch at the posted coordinates.
