Small container within a short walk of a small parking area. You can park at coordinates N 51 44.029 E 00 42.833. The cache can be accessed by walking to the left of a boat trailer compound down a gravel/cinder path that leads to the sea wall.
The cache is located near to the coastal path which follows the Blackwater estuary. The Blackwater estuary with its vast expanse of salt marshes provides a tranquil sanctuary for a rich variety of bird life.
The section of coastal path where the cache is located is near Heybridge Basin. Heybridge Basin is a lovely place to chill out between cache hunting. You can grab a coffee and/or food from the lovely Lock coffee rooms overlooking the water or get a drink from the two public houses situated on the basin near the lock gates, these pubs also sell food.
