If approaching by car, Shackerstone Walk is narrow. I would suggest parking along Main Street near the village green. The cache is about 100m down a public footpath which is part of the Leicestershire Round walk. There is a swing gate, but no stiles. The path is well walked. The little children from the village school used to be taken down 'Little Lane' for nature walks, while the bigger children went down the 'Big Lane'.
