You are looking for a small camouflaged peanut butter container. It
contains a log book, wooden pencil, and a FTF dollar. Nice little
area to walk in.
This cache introduces you to an area of Bemidji that is oftentimes
overlooked. Enjoy the walk and the scenery but be on the look out
for trolls. Long ago Bemidji was a troll free zone and a carefree
walk in the woods was a common activity amongst residents. Then the
beaver invaded the area and the trolls followed as they love to
dine on the animal. Keep an eye out for fresh cuttings which is a
sure indicator that beaver are in the vicinity. If you find any
then be careful around culverts because that is where hungry trolls
tend to congregate because it’s dark and damp. If you happen to be
approached by a troll remember that they dislike direct sunlight
and will avoid it at all costs (a good flashlight like the one used
by Momandson works better than sunlight). Another effective way to
deal with trolls is to simply be nice and pleasant and they will be
your friend forever, in fact they may even invite you over for
dinner. One word of warning, if you are sharing a meal with them
don’t ever divulge your middle name because if you do they will
take your middle name for themselves and never give it back. We
were lucky enough to have dinner with a couple Friday night and no
matter how hard they tried to weasel our middle names out of us we
kept very quiet. Enjoy the cache and say hi to our little friends,
some who have collected over a hundred middle names.
