Geocache Description:

This cache is just outside Penkridge, between the A449 Stafford Rd and the M6. It's a nice walk down the tow path, alongside the Shropshire canal. Longford Lock is a picture post card spot on the canal, at Broom Bridge. Obvious care is required with geokids near water, otherwise child friendly.


Thanks to Izzy and the Lizard King for the great photo's of Longford Lock, used on this listing (it was dark when I did the hide).

Roadside Parking for 3 or 4 cars (see waypoint below).

The cache is a small round container, filled with a log book and usual goodies. WATCH OUT FOR PRICKLES when retrieving the cache
