Our Huntsville Botanical Garden Scarecrow, "Finding the Cache", was
such a big success that we decided to place a cache that is
available year around. "Something Growing On" is located near the
picnic tables adjacent to the parking lot. An entrance fee is not
necessary to access the cache. Please park in a parking spot and
take care while stepping into the landscaping to retrieve the
cache.
Hours of the garden vary throughout the year. May-September M-S:
9 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday: 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday: 12-6 p.m.
October-April M-S: 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday: 12-5 p.m. The Garden is
closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's
Eve and New Year's Day.
The outside gates usually open at 7:30am and so the cache is
available then but the gardens will not open until stated time.
Please do not hunt for cache during the evenings of the Galaxy of
Lights. Traffic is very heavy. Daytime hunting only!
