Geocache Description:


Here is my offering to the Sidetracked craze that is sweeping the country at the moment.
I got this micro cache seed at the Flash mob event in Brum so i thought i had better get it placed while there are some stations left...

Shenstone station is on the cross city line which runs between Redditch and Lichfield.

The station was built in 1884 and is popular with commuters into Birmingham and large groups of school children as i found while trying to hide the cache.

There is a free carpark outside the front of the station but it does tend to fill up.
There are also some good pubs in the village which do meals if you are not cache and dashing.

I have given it a terrain of 1.5 even though it is wheelchair friendly because you have to stretch to feel the cache.
As with all Sidetracked caches please be careful with geo-kids, you do not have to go anywhere near the platform edge or the tracks.

please make sure it is wedged in place when replacing.
