A nice walk in Linden - no more than 1km from start to finish. You
can also do it in your car (mostly)!
The starting co-ordinates are for NP Van Wyk Louw's house. He was a famous Afrikaans poet, author, philosopher and playwright who lived here until his death. A quote of his is found on the "Taal Monument" in Paarl about Afrikaans being a bridge between Europe and Africa.
The second point is a church that used to belong to an
American denomination until the early 1980's when they felt a call of God returning them to the USA. They sold the church buildings to the current owners for a princely sum of R1.00 before returning to the USA.

BTW: The cache is named after our family (EAGLE is our family acronym)and is close to our "roost".
