This cache was inspired by Henry the Thirst's (R.I.P) "Weyside Wander" series which included the first cache I ever found, and is located along the Wey Navigation canal, if you are travelling any length of the canal it can be combined with other caches nearby.
The coordinates above are for the start point of both the cache and the canal at Thames Lock. In this area you must look around for some information to work out the final co-ordinates:
1) Safety rules must be followed within (x) metres of a lock.
2) Thames Lock is the first lock on the Wey Navigation, it was opened in (y).
3) The date on the lock gates furthest from the metal footbridge is (z).
The cache is hidden along the canal at N51° (x-28).(y-1175) W000° (x-22).0(z-1933). Please ensure the cache is well hidden when you replace it, thank you.
There is a barn at Thames Lock with information on the history and wildlife of the canal which is worth a look. However if it is closed, don't worry, you do not need to enter the barn to solve the clues.
