Geocache Description:

The Shepherd's Daughter cache is a multi stage cache. The first way point will require the cacher to answer a couple of easy questions in order to locate the cache at the second way point.

Once the first way point is found answer the following questions to determine the cache location. What month did the event take place = A What year did this event take place = BCDA Number of times the letter L appears in the Shepherd's daughters' name = E Co-ordinates are as follows... S 37 (C/2)B.DDE E 144 E(C/2).EDA The first way point is easily accesible by conventional vehicle. The second way point is less than a kilometre away so you can decide whether you wish to walk or drive. However the route to the cache with a vehicle is not via the path off to the Northeast. A lazy cacher who wants to walk but not that far can drive to within about 500m. For those of us allergic to exercise or if the weather is adverse, or you just prefer to drive, then cache can be driven up to with a conventional 2WD car but it is not recommended. Please note that this area is littered with hundreds of old mine shafts. The vehicular track that continues easterly and downwards past the cache is definitely 4WD ONLY. Please note I have done some research at the local library, on the internet and at DSE but have not been able to obtain any further information on the Shepherd's daughter or the second location where the cache is hidden. If anyone can shed any light on either of this historical areas it would be greatly appreciated.
