It was hidden under a dry-rotten tree trunk covered by bark,
between Haraszti and Taksony. Size (LxWxH): 20x20x6 cm
Near Dunaharaszti there is the Calvary Hill, which is a reserved
place because of the rare plants. So the goal of this cache isn't
simply the Calvary Chapel but a pleasant walk in the forest.
Go right behind the chapel on the path what is parallel to the Road
510 or on the left of the chapel by the channel. It's god to go on
one way and come on the other.
History: The Chapel was built in 1762 by the population of
Haraszti and Taksony together on the joint border of the two town.
It was built of ashlar and decorated with sculptures.
In the 2nd World War the Chapel and the Calvary was crashed. Tibor
Domonkos, one of the grey friars, lived in Haraszti, rebuilt it
with the work of long years. Till the summer of 1985 there are
masses on every Saturday afternoon. A new Cross was stalled on the
sumer of 1988 by Marton Mihalyi.
It was renewed again in 2007. Nowadays there are masses very
rarely.
