Mokry jarok (sometimes called Mokry potok) is one of
first remarkable tributaries of Danube rising in Slovakia. Its name
(damp ditch) suits it well most of year though steep eroded banks
suggest that there are parts of year when much more water flows
here.
You can park at given coordinates. Here, at the place where
Mokry jarok flows into Danube and finishes its journey, you
will start your trip. The trip will end at the place where Mokry
jarok starts.
Go uphill beside the ditch and look for a stone well on the left
bank. Mark ciphers XYZ. Keep going
uphill beside the channel of the stream to spring Napojiska (it
will take more than 30 minutes of swift walking). At the spring
look for a year in roman numerals ABCD.
