Our August meeting was an encouraging success with the Georgia State Parks officials. We made a favorable impression and represented ourselves well. Let's do it again, this time with Cobb County. A special "Thank you" goes out to Kent and Sharon Raymond for doing the footwork to contact Rusty Simpson from Cobb County Parks and Rec.We will be working with Rusty to establish usage guidelines and contact information for geocachers who want to place caches in Cobb County parks. Please join us early or stay late to swap stories, tell tall tales, and enjoy seeing the faces behing the cache logs. Everyone is welcome; you do not have to be a member to attend.
Pre-meeting
Picnic
Feel free to come early and enjoy an informal
picnic lunch with the GGA geocachers. We will start gathering around 1:00PM
to begin our feast. All you have to do is bring a picnic lunch for your
family/friends and enjoy some good company. We will keep the grill going
for anyone that wants to bring dogs, burgers, or brats. You could also
make a side trip to Marietta and picnic with a bucket from the Big
Chicken. Please no alcoholic beverages: Park Rules.
