ABOIM DA NÓBREGA
Aboim da Nóbrega localiza-se na zona norte do concelho de Vila Verde, na fronteira com o concelho de Ponte da Barca, bem no coração do Minho. Situa-se no Centro Rural de Mixões da Serra junto ao Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês.
A freguesia é caracterizada por duas encostas que se situam acima dos 400 m, sendo separadas pelo Rio Vade que nasce na freguesia vizinha de Gondomar e desagua no Rio Lima, em Ponte da Barca. O ponto de cota mais elevado situa-se no monte do outrora Castelo de Aboim a 775 metros de altitude.
Entre as encostas situam-se grandes zonas verdejantes cultiváveis, que, combinadas simultaneamente com zonas florestais e superfícies rochosas, impõem à paisagem um aspecto de beleza singular.
A cache encontra-se num belo local com uma vista muita bonita sobre a freguesia, contendo um tesouro composto por diversas moedas prontas a ser cambiadas!
Aboim da Nobrega can be found northern part of the concelho of Vila Verde, at the borderline with the concelho of Ponte da Barca, well in the heart of Minho. Its located in the Rural Center of mixoes da Serra, close to the National Park of Peneda-Gerês.
The village, is characterized by its two slopes located above 400m, separated by the Vade River, which springs in the neighbouring village of Gondomar, and flowing in the Lima River, in Ponte da Barca. The Highest point can be found in the hill of the once Castle of Aboim at an altitude of 750m.
Between both slopes are great green areas of farmland that combined simultaneously with small forests and rocky surfaces provide a landscape of unique beauty.
The cache, containing a treasure consisting of many coins ready to be exchanged ,can be found in a beautiful place with a great view over the village.
