The cache is a 10 cm high, 6 cm diameter plastic cyilinder not far from the Tunel.
The "Tunel" was built in the 14th century under the rocky ridge of the Kremnické Vrchy (Körmöci-hegység). The ore from the mines near Banská Bystrica (Besztercebánya) was transported through this tunnel to the mint of Hungarian kings in Kremnica (Körmöcbánya). The soldiers of Görgey during the war of independence in 1848-49 used the tunnel to reach Banská Bystrica (Besztercebánya) – therefore is the name of the tunnel: Tunel Görgeyho (Görgey-alagút).
Today the yellow marked path leads through the reconstructed tunnel under the red marked path on the top of the ridge. The Tunel can be visited by cross-country skies in the winter, by mountain bikes in the summer, and by foot in the whole year. The main ridge of Kremnické Vrchy (Körmöci-hegység) can be reached from the west, from Kremnica (Körmöcbánya) or from the east, from Banská Bystrica (Besztercebánya).
The easiest way is from Skalka (Szkalka) on the red marked path (cross-country ski route in the winter). It is only 1.5 km, weakly down. Parking place at N 48° 44.335' E 18° 59.275' (altitude 1170 m) at Skalka, which can be reached from Kremnica (Körmöcbánya) by car or by public transportation. An other, a little bit longer way is from Tajov (Tajó) on the yellow marked path (4 km, 370 m elevation). Parking place at Chata Tajov (N 48° 45.300' E 19° 01.525', altitude 780 m), which can be reached from Banská Bystrica (Besztercebánya).
