This cache is hidden on Catherington Downs and requires a short walk to find the cache. The terrain is mostly level and walking across the downs
This cache was placed to mark my personal achievement of being awarded the Queen Scout Award earlier this year. The significance of this particular spot is that this is where - as a scout - we played night games across these downs in the autumn and winters months when it was dark. I have many fond memories of this area and I hope you can also take in a sense of this areas beauty.
Parking is at N50 55.529 W001 01.086
There are other areas nearby to park however this is where we used to start as scouts and then walk onto the downs from here.
You may need some gloves or careful movement when retrieving the cache.
