Laksforsen er et 17 m. høyt fossefall i lakselva Vefsna og er verdt et besøk. Vannføringen kan komme opp i 700 m3 pr. sekund og er et imponerende skue.
Den er en av de mest besøkte attraksjoner i Nordland.
Laksforsen is a very wide and scenic river waterfall. The rate of flow could reach 25000 cubic feet per sec. tumbling some 55 feet in height.
It is one of the most interesting attractions worth stopping for along the E6 in the area.
