En vy från Länna Berg över Vägumeviken med Länna kalkugn i förgrunden. En kalkugn som byggdes omkring 1870. Den var i drift fram till 1932. På en nu riven träbrygga transporterades kalksten i vagnar från brottet och tippades sedan ner i ugnen. I kalkladan som synes bredvid ugnen och som idag hyser en tennisbana förvarades den såväl brända som den släckta kalken i väntan på utskeppning. På den andra sidan av Vägumeviken synes BARLÄST med dess kalkugnar och byggningar. Boxen innehåller loggbok, penna, mugglarinfo samt diverse bytessaker. ---- Eng A view from Länna Berg over Vägume Creek – with Länna lime kiln in the foreground. A lime kiln which was built around 1870, and was running up till 1932. At a – now knocked down – wooden bridge limestones were transported from the quarry and dumped into the kiln. In the lime barn – placed besides the kiln – the limestones (as well as the burned and the slaked) were waiting for export. On the other side of Vägume Creek you see Barläst with lime kilns and buildings. The box contains logbook, pencil, muggler-info and various trading items.
