Times Up has two meanings here: 1) this is the 50th cache in our contest for the Geocoins. That means as soon as you have found all 50 caches and signed all the logs and you should have 49 codes (Northwest Park was the first cache and it has no code so it is a freebe). 2) it will come to you when you find this cache.
This is an unusual cache. The only one in this area like it. This is placed on City property called Doomar Forest. This is a dense 12 acre Forest that was purchased by the City in 1995 for $42,000.
For best results park at these coordinates; N 30 27.835, W 084 14.562. Walk North towards the dumpster and enter the Forest here. Pay attention to your GPS'r when you enter because that will probably be the last signal that you will have. This cache was inspired by all the weird things that I have seen while Geocaching. So if you have a weird (clean) story feel free to share it in your log.
Most of the caches hidden by Tallahassee Parks and Recreation have a five or six digit code, either on the log book or on the cache itself. Record the code for a chance to earn a Parks and Recreation Geocoin. After you have collected 40 codes, email them in alphabetically order by cache name to this owner. We will confirm the codes and arrange to meet to pick up your numbered Geocoin. Please make sure cache is hidden well when your done.
