Geocache Description:

The Cache is hidden on Bud Leavitt (Bull Hill) Wildlife Management Area in Charleston, Maine

Bud Leavitt Wildlife Management Area is one of 51 WMA's across the State Of Maine. It is 6430 acres in size, roughly six square miles of secondary upland forest with some forested wetlands. There are many recreational opportunities provided by the lands and they are managed by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. Bud Leavitt WMA has provisions for the following activities; Canoeing, Fur Trapping, Big Game Hunting, Small Game Hunting, Upland and Waterfowl Hunting. There is also hiking. For further information on WMA's go to www.mefishwildlife.com and enter WMA in the search block.

A word of caution. You will not have to go deep into the woods but for your own safety, it is recommended that the wearing of Hunter Orange should be practiced from Late August when Bear Season opens until mid December when Dear Season has Closed.

Tread lightly, don't leave footprint clues.
